National Agri-food Traceability System: Furth Meeting of Phase Three

Stakeholder Discussions on Jordan’s Agri-Food Traceability

In a significant step toward enhancing food safety and quality in Jordan, the Reform Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, hosted the inaugural focus group discussions for the National Traceability System for Agri-Food Products (NTSAP) last week. Supported by the Jordan Growth MDTF and organized in cooperation with the implementing consulting firm, this three-day session convened over 60 stakeholders from key sectors, including vegetables (tomatoes), fruits (dates), poultry, and live meat (sheep).
